ChickChat, an Insights & Events firm serving the Women's market, has used the tagline The Power of She for 5+ years. However, The Power of She is so much more than a tagline, it's a MOVEMENT! The time is now, like never before, for women to understand, embrace and USE their Power to create the life they want; a better, healthier world for their family and to support women's Equality, Empowerment and Advancement at home and around the globe.

One huge way to accomplish this is by being purpose-driven as to WHERE and with WHOM women choose to purchase their products from. Women are POWERFUL consumers who wield tremendous financial power in the U.S. today; controlling 85%+ of all household spending - equating to $7 Trillion!!

The Power of SHE encourages women to spend more of their money with Women-Owned Businesses in order to shrink the gender wage gap and help women become financially successful. And that's exactly what CEO & Founder, Tracy Klinkroth, intends to do in 2018 as she embarks on her Power of She Project:

"During 2018, I commit to buying only from Women-Owned Businesses (for my personal purchases); everything from the food I eat and restaurants I eat at, to the auto mechanic and hair stylist I use, to the coffee shop I meet people at for meetings. I'll buy my makeup, skincare and other personal products from Women-Owned Businesses (100% women-owned). When this is not possible; I will then attempt to purchase from 50% women-owned (many women start companies with their husband or male partner). If that's not possible, I will research and report back on the "She Approval" rating for multinational companies that we have too often times buy so many products from - and let you know how well they are doing (or not) along such factors as: paid maternal/paternal leave and the number of women on their C Suite and Board of Directors. Follow me on The Power of She blog and social media to learn about my trials and tribulations and learnings along the way. This idea has been whispering in my ear for 2+ years now - and I finally have the courage to embark on this passion project and journey - I HOPE YOU'LL JOIN ME!!" ~ Tracy Klinkroth, Founder & CEO of ChickChat and The Power of SHE
